It would be great if we could use enriched redstone and enriched carbon from the Mekanism mod in the nuclear reactor, in place of plain coal and redstone.

Perhaps, for cross-mod compatibility, have it accept uranium (ingotUranium) and plutonium (ingotPlutonium)?

if they could add a tag to register all thing in the config file that are labeled carbon or redstone based
like I have seen other mods add a value to items like wood to have carbon value
