Details

Using pickaxes on the block quartz-crete and most variants of quartz-crete doesn't drop their block as it's not the "appropriate" tool so it simply breaks.

There are a few exceptions listed below that works that being both forms of the quartz-crete walls and, the compressed and double compressed forms drop their respective blocks (although pickaxe isn't the appropriate tool for both the compressed forms, and can be broken by hand with their blocks dropping)
