Will you / could you make your mod compatible with domum_ornamentum. MineColonies uses domum_ornamentum for some de sine elements and you can not hide your pipes with these blocks.

Pretty Pipes allows using any blocks as covers that don't have block entities. There are no plans to change this behavior, mainly since it's almost never required for decorative blocks.
