Pipe system eating items

I recently tried out Pretty Pipes for the first time without much experience with this kind of mod, I built a small sorting system of chests, and hooked it to a terminal for easy access. I noticed recently though that when pulling items out of chests, sometimes things will literally just disappear. Like, I sent for 2 64 stacks of granite, and only got one, but the other one isn't in the database nor in any of the individual chests, I checked them all.
I saw someone say sometimes items will get jammed in pipes while going over chunk borders, but the whole system is within the same chunk

Im experiencing the same problem, lost about 25% of all my items when transferring over to their storage system before I realised. Just setup a bunch of barrels all connected to a crafting terminal.

MC: 1.20.1
Forge: 47.2.0
Mod: 1.15.0

Hi! What version of the mod are you on?

commented

it says 1.15.0 on curseforge, but im a relative amateur to the modding scene, so I'm not too sure if that's correct. Its just part of a modpack I'm using

Hmm, I'm still unable to reproduce this issue, unfortunately :(

Has this issue occured to any of you using just Pretty Pipes with no other mods?

Hi! I Have the same problem in 1.21.1 version (1.17.1) and i think the problem is in the terminal.

For example, in the item terminal it appears that you have 269 rocks but you don't really have that amount in the chests. In my experience, i have 40 emeralds but the terminal says that i have 300 :S

I can’t say for the total amount - but I know it’s deleting items - because I knew I had x amount of diamonds and then had 0

Hmm, thanks so much for the additional info! Unfortunately I'm still unable to reproduce this issue, it seems.

@Adrikue @MissCatTrap If possible, it would be great if you could try creating a minimal reproducible example of this issue, ie a small setup (like in a creative world) with just Pretty Pipes installed that allows consistently triggering the bug you're describing. This might not be easily possible, but it's certainly worth a try to find a fix :)
