By the time you can craft the first artificial fonts, they are basically useless without making walls of them. I think adding an upgraded wand charger that finds all fonts within X radius around it and charges any wand/staff placed in it from them rather than having to convert items would be much more appropriate.

There's actually already a device in the Magitech discipline called an Auto-Charger that I believe does exactly what you're asking. Is there something about it that you find lacking for the purpose?

I see that item now. Having gotten to it finally, I'd have to say that it's just a bit too far past the point you get the upgrade to Adept level wands/staves. Perhaps the Magitech discipline should show up slightly sooner after hitting Adept than it does?

That or increase the max capacity of Ancient and Artificial Fonts a bit as you can't even fully charge 250 from a single Ancient Font and you'd think that the middle tier Adept level would be the average or standard level for which those had been made. Possibly even have it be a config option what the max levels are; exact number for Ancient Fonts and percentage of that for the Artificial ones.

I also noticed that once you upgrade the Wand Charger, the research table no longer recognizes it as a Wand Charger. Any upgraded apparatus should also count for lower tier ones the research table may search for.

In addition, if you could add a label display in JEI which showed what skill level (Novice, Adept, Expert, etc.) and Discipline any given recipe was, similarly to how you show the necessary aspects for the mage table crafts; it would be super helpful.
