Have goblins noises used a similar different pitch compared to baby villagers

Maybe that is part of the goblin's difficulty. They sound like a poor child when they're anything but.

Though, if the goblin's does/did have a separate sound file from the villager you could use something like audacity to change it's pitch.

Thats what I do for the trollager as well. Might change this as well then.
