[Suggestion] Config for loot from suffocating spewers

Any chance we could get a config option to have spewers not drop loot if they suffocate?
We play with the Bloodmoon mod that disregards spawning rules for nights with a bloodmoon. Spewers spawn on the surface (which is cool) but suffocate and litter gunpowder and diamonds everywhere.
What? Lol, really? I have the Bloodmoon installed and have yet to see this. You sure you did not change any of the settings? I can indeed make it so that they don't drop loot by suffocation, seems fair. Really weird this though...
I haven't changed any primitive mobs settings, just increased the Bloodmoon chance a little. PM was added last minute and I purposefully didn't look at all the mobs, so meeting a bunch of spewers during the Bloodmoon with Hardcore Darkness and Dynamic Lights installed was quite the experience. :D
I tried adding Primitive Mobs names to the blacklist in Bloodmoon, but they still spawn as MuckingAboutMC describes. Lots of gun powder and diamonds also. Gusssing MulitMob is going around the normal spawning process. I had to turn down the modifier on bloodmoon beacuse the server was taking a massive lag due to the number of monsters running around. The travelers/flitch/etc were showing up in massive numbers as well.
I told the players not to get too attached but it may be too late.
