https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/arcane-tablet might be able to be used for a reference, despite not being open source it still seems to be licensed under MIT

The item texture still exists in all versions at src/main/resources/assets/projectexpansion/textures/item/arcane_tablet.png

The gui texture is not present and will need to be created
