Asking for newer version of Brandon's Core

Tried Install PI Version 1.0.9.28-universal off of Twitch, and got the error I needed Brandon's Core newer than 2.1.(something) and that the current version was 2.4.9, obviously newer. Minecraft stops loading at this point. Provides buttons to Open Mod Folder or a Log.
Can you describe how it doesn't load? Do you get a crash report? Are there any logs attached? Does your entire computer just stop?
So what's the issue here? It's asking for a newer version than 2.1, and you have one.

I have attached a screen cap of where it stops. And a Pastebin of the Latest.log
It clearly says you require 2.4.17 or above and you have 2.4.9
9 is less than 17.
When I search on Twitch I only see 2.4.9, and its tagged for MC Version 1.7.10
The version numbering could be clearer. I mistook it for 2.4.1.7 my bad. I didn't look deeper because the entry on Twitch was tagged 1.7.10 Is that something that can be fixed?
There is no Brandons Core 2.4.9 for minecraft 1.7.10. That's not something i can fix.
Also i don't see how "2.4.17" could be any clearer. I use a common simple version format:
<mod version>.<major version>.<minor version>.<build number>
mod version = complete mod re-write (Usually due to minecraft update)
major version = Any significant changes including content changes or API breaking changes
minor version = Mostly bug fixes or other miner changes that don't really add or remove anything
build number = Only used in jar names. This is a global number that is incremented every time a jar is built for any version of minecraft.
I meant the Minecraft version numbering within the Twich App. It tags your mod for 1.7.10 only for some reason.
If you search for it on the website directly its all fine and dandy.
