Either do that, or add the feature of vanilla repeaters getting disabled when a redstone signal is applied on the side to the project red repeaters.

If you are referring to the ability to disable repeaters by powering the block under them, this is not necessary as there are a ton of other gates available that you can use in combination to create the same logic.
