An interesting idea I had: The ability to add components to the top of an IC, such as levers, lights, buttons, and possibly some kind of dial. Then, you could operate those or see the output while the IC was placed down. You could maybe have a 16x16 panel where you could put lamps, buttons, levers, torches, etc. and then link them somehow to corresponding components in the circuit diagram. Maybe you could also label each with a few characters.

I've considered many things like this. Will mess around with some ideas.
