I love the fact the retro gen is enabled but is there anyway to have it not gen new volcanoes as well. I only ask as it put a volcanoe right in the middle of my base :(

Retro gen also generate too many valcanoes. I have 6 in small area (my city) when enable retro gen.

Just turn it off in the configs? Any worldgen can be toggled.

I understand you can turn it off. But just to make sure i understand what your saying, if i turn off volcano gen then do a retro gen would i turn volcanoes back on after the retro gen is complete. Would that work?
