The curved relay is a very simple block. I'm not even sure if I would call it a logic gate, but there have been many times where I wanted it to make my circuit just a little bit more compact.

After making the image, I realized that you wouldn't even need the additional screwdriver feature, but the concept is simple. It's a block that allows two separate redstone signals pass through the same block without touching or interacting in any way, and then taking a 90-degree turn.
Again, it's main purpose is to make your circuit even more compact.
