it would be functionally the same as a null cell, except corresponding ins/outs would be on adjacent sides instead of opposite sides. it would make compacting circuits a lot easier.

Ive decided that such a gate is not necessary.

This would be pretty easy to add with the new gate setup. Not sure if its all that necessary, as there are a lot of other ways of doing this, we'll see what happens.
