No BusTransceiver signal propogation

pr-busxcvr-no-propogation
I attempted to build a compact bundled "transparent latch".
But whenever I turn on RED signal, the bundled signal goes only 3 blocks and does not propogate further for no reason (forcing a block update around it makes the signal go 3 lamps further)
GREEN is always off here.

Flat version of the same circuit (that one works)
Note that "green" bus transceivers have different orientation than "red" bus tranceivers

World download with the "comby circuit", if you decide to play with it.

All these are "gate ignoring a signal" type of deals.
Due to the lack of time I am putting the screenshots here, hoping I'll be able to make separate tickets for those that actually weren't.
When a redwire ends on a block boundary, it means it's connecting to a stone button.

In all of the screenshots nothing happens when I push the button / flip a lever / do what I did.

I am sorry I don't have time to grab 1.6.4 and test now.
I'll test it as soon as possible (Which means next weekend.. cursed computers and internets)

Are you even using the latest version?
