208px-deployer
It would be nice to have a Deployer block, similar to the original RedPower Deployer block, which simulates a right-click by a user on the items in its inventory. Basically, its inventory would consist of a 3x3 grid in which items can be placed which, when the deployer receives a redstone signal, will be placed in front of the deployer by simulating a right-click on an item. Similar to vanilla dispensers this will, for example, allow for a bucket to be emptied but because vanilla dispensers don't allow every item to be handled in such a way, the deployer will. http://tekkitclassic.wikia.com/wiki/Deployer

If your using Thermal Expansion 3, the autonomous activator can do this and can left click, shift click, and even adjust the block it clicks on.

I can definately recommend the TE3 deployer, though I agree it would be nice to have one in ProjectRed. I should talk to TE3 about how much they can share so we don't have 2 identical blocks

I am currently in progress of coding such things for PR. Not sure about bringing over all the machines from RP2, but deployers and breakers will definitely be in.

I think I will work on this along with frames once that is released. For now, there's a lot that has a higher priority.

This issue should be closed because the deployer is now implemented.
