Feature request: Bus Displays (to make sure they got mentioned)

What is the policy non-logic gates, ChickenBones? I'd like to know your opinion.
Pictures of it in action: http://www.minecraftforum.net/index.php?app=forums&module=forums§ion=findpost&pid=24266305
Code that did those: https://github.com/Iree/ProjectRed/tree/705aac7daaef0fd68d03e6c605d5e062aa14abb3
EDIT: https://github.com/Iree/ProjectRed/tree/master with PR's changes pulled also builds and works :)
Be warned that I made all those changes using the "edit" button here at github, which I was told says something about my code skills.
(-> I actually cannot operate "git" and upload a new texture that is required - I attached it to Iree#2 instead)
PS: How do I make it recognized as a feature request?
It looks alright, but feels like a bit of a gimmick

.
@Chicken-Bones
EDIT: What does "gimmick" mean exactly when used to describe a mod code?
That code is made by a total noob. The chance of it being done right.. erhm..
I am still surprised it works well enough so I could make those screenshots :D.
There is not much point in having those displays for me, since I have no RedPowerControl.
I think you missed the actual question, though.
What is the policy on gates that aren't actually logic gates?
I have the following to say for non-logic gates.
Make an addon mod, then if we think it's decently presented, we'll make a poll for it. If it gets more than 60% yes from the community (out of Yes/No/Meh), then we'll add it in, most likely by recoding it.
also "gimmick" means something that is a fun and novel idea, but lacks practicality and will quickly fall out of use.
