Cant level up in latest psi

I am using version R1.0-40 of the mod PSI
i am using the latest/recommended version of Forge
i am using vanilla forge
i am not using optifine
After i created my Iron CAD and put it in the CAD assembly. I used it to transfer redstone dust into PSI dust. this worked fine and i got a nice little popup saying that i got a level point. So i unequiped my CAD and pressed c but instead of showing me the menu with all the levels, i just got the Welcome to PSI screen. I checked the version R1.0-39 and that all worked fine.

reproduce: open minecraft with psi 1.0-40 and AutoRegLib-1.0-2
create iron cad and put it in the Cad assembly.
convert redstone to PSI dust.
try to use level point.
see Welcome screen
