The red piece is Trick: Switch Focus Slot. I have made more than one spell with it, and have been using them EXCESSIVELY for a couple of days now, but it still will not complete and move to the bottom of the list.

Followup: I'm an idiot. Didn't even realize that the last lesson stays at the top until learning a new one. No issue.
