If you have a spell on psimetal boots that adds downward motion in the same tick you jump, your jump gets canceled, and the spell doesn't cast serverside. This also seems to be related to the issue that undelayed blink spells don't work on boots.

I've noticed this issue with blink on boots (though didn't know it was this).
