From what I can scrape together this mod has a module called "PersistencyHandler.java" and inside there is the only text in my set of mods that contains the lines "Couldn't create home directory!".

I think there is something particular to my computers setup that is causing this because sometimes but only sometimes when I launch stoneblock2 I can create a new world and everything is fine. other times it crashes telling me Psi, AutoRegLib are the cause of the crash. It also appears I am the only user having this issue because no one else has articulated this issue recently. the issue appearing to have vanished with an update to the mod sometime ago.

I was running version R72 but I updated to R73 without improvement.

I can cause this issue by generating world as well, a newly generated world will give me this error but I was able to get the game to load and run fine at some point.

okay I think have it figured out, I am sorry for wasting your time.

The persistence error meant exactly what it said but because I am using the twitch launcher to start mine craft I forgot to check my appdata folder. Inside there there was a junction with the name ".minecraft" that pointed to nothing, so the mod could not create a home directory inside the .minecraft directory because it was broken.
