Forge 1.7.10 server crash
Dezzy201 opened this issue ยท 9 comments
When starting up the server with the mod installed, it doesn't start, says theres an error and crashes.
1: Install the mod onto the server
2: Start the server
3: Crash
If nothing was wrong, the server would start and players would be able to join with the same jar file and join and have fun!

**Additional context**
I have tried this with all the other parzi star wars mods, they don't work either, but they work fine on singleplayer. I have changed the server version a few times, didn't make a difference.
Despite PSWG moving to 1.12, luckily this looks like it isn't a mod issue.
If you're positive you have Java 8 (aka Java 1.8) installed, make sure that the Java 8 executable is on the PATH and not the executable for Java 7 (i.e. 1.7.0_80, which is what Forge is reporting as the Java version)
There's a good chance it works in singleplayer because whatever launcher you're using is explicitly picking the Java 8 executable and not using the one registered in the PATH.
Run which java
at the command line and see what it comes up with.
Well, which launcher do you use for Minecraft?
EDIT: Just saw that this is for server and not client, NVM
Run which java
at the command line and post the result here. Should give us a clue as to what Java the game is trying to use.
By command line do you mean command promt? If so, its an unknown command. Same on the server console
Sorry if im being really unhelpful or selfish, I do not know what im doing haha.
Yes, I assumed you're running Linux for the server, correct? That's what the log says. which
should be a valid command on pretty much any Unix-based OS.
I dont think my server is a linux one? Its a hosted server called server.pro which i pay for premium.. But I use windows 10.
Oh, you're paying to have this hosted for you. This is an issue that needs to be taken up with the hosting provider.
