Basically just like the horizontal drying rack, but for the anvil. I feel like I'm missing a reason it's not like that already but I thought I'd suggest it just in case aha.

I second this. Most sprites are designed like that, sprites, which are meant to face the camera against a flat background. Most items would look better this way.
