as far as i can tell, there currently is no option to specify custom blocks to act like heat sources for the drying racks.

For example it would be nice to specify certain torches, or blocks like magma, embers heat lamps, etc to increase the drying speed (similar to how the fire config is setup, with a bonus value and bonus range).

Idea: it might be interesting to follow the pattern Immersive Engineering uses for the Thermoelectric Generator, where for liquids, it uses the Forge liquid temperature (meaning support is automatic for most modded liquids), and for blocks, it has a list of manually-specified temperatures (e.g. Block of Uranium being 2000K by default) that can be modified with CraftTweaker.

It would be very convenient for mod integration if "hot blocks" can be synchronized this way, and equally, it could implicitly allow "cold" blocks to slow drying speed by having "temperatures" under 300K or so.
