Mulch not working with modded crops?

Crops from XLFood Mod do not work with mulched farmland.

When you apply mulch to farmland, and try to plant any seeds from XLFood Mod, it pops off if you update the block or just after a while. If the seeds are planted on regular farmland and then you apply mulch, the crops also pop off.

I would assume this is a bug, and that the crops should work like vanilla ones.
