With Create, you can give quality to any items that accept quality and have a compacting recipe. By putting the items that you want to be have quality along with an item that already has quality, but isn't part of the recipe, it gives the quality-less items quality of the item that's not part of the recipe.

For example, by putting a diamond quality egg and 9 quality-less wheat into a basin and then smashing them with a mechanical press, it outputs a diamond quality hay bale. The egg stays in the basin meaning that the process can be repeated indefinitely.
