Having Dyable Elytras enabled in the config section with modded capes (ex: Optifine, Aether Legacy) will hide Elytras completely when equipped, showing neither the cape or Elytra.

EDIT: Optifine now has custom Elytras so this no longer applies

Note: Disabling "Cape" in the Skin Customization tab fixes this issue.
