Being able to insert items into Shulker Boxes from the player inventory is crazy useful, but sometimes the items in the box end up out of order, and there's already a great automatic sorting feature in this mod for keeping containers pretty. However, it's inconvenient to have to place the box to press Sort, and it would defeat the gimmick of the box if the GUI could just be opened from inside, and furthermore a dedicated keybind for this would be plain excessive.

My suggestion is that picking up a Shulker Box full of items in the inventory (the way one does when moving it to another slot) and shaking it around (just by wiggling the mouse a reasonable amount) will sort the contents as if the player had placed it, opened it, and clicked sort, but with loads more convenience. This would be an unintrusive mechanic that would make managing Shulker Box content more pleasing in a way that doesn't require new keybinds or exploitable functionality. Shaking the item to sort its contents could be an intuitive and extremely unique way to solve a simple problem, and may fit nicely with the other things Quark does in ways other mods don't approach.
