Crash placing Torches on Double-Slab blocks

Modpack: FTB Unstable 1.10 4.2.4 (using Quark-beta-46.jar)
Trying to place some torches (regular Minecraft torches) on my roof-space, I placed two Diorite Brick Slabs (forming a double-slab block) to place the torches on. The moment I place a torch, it triggers a crash, both while sneaking and not. (tried multiple times)

Redid with a Diorite Bricks block, had no issue. Tried a Diorite Brick Stairs block, could place on rear of stair. Tried placing Diorite Slab upside down, could place torch on top.
Replicated Stairs and upside down Slab with Andersite Bricks, still fine. Placed a Andersite Brick Slab double-block, and it crashed again.

Lastly, replicating the Andersite Brick tests with plain Cobblestone causes no crashes.
Is this fixed in beta 47? I got the same thing with snow brick slabs when placing torches on the side.
