Caused by the vanilla one accepting all types of chests.

The recipe for the trapped chest variants do not work for me. They display correctly in the recipe book and when I do not have the required materials in my inventory. But as soon as I put the materials in the crafting grid, I only get an oak trapped chest.
Tested this in both creative and survival singleplayer.
