1.14 beta - inconsistent shulker box drop in behavior

If the box is in the hotbar, the crafting slots, or the offhand, it appears to accept the item (the + appears, tooltip to add item appears when hovered) but it does not accept it (right click swaps the items).
When in creative mode, the box appears to accept the item but never accepts it, no matter where in the player inventory.
When holding a blacklisted item like an another shulker box, it appears to accept it but doesn't accept anyways.

AutoRegLib 1.4-34, the one Vaz posted in #betas with latest Quark beta.
