The Issue

In testing with my mod Natural Progression, I noticed that the vanilla crafting recipe for stone tools no longer worked with my cobbled stones (all using the #forge:cobblestone tag) -- that and someone else contacted me on CurseForge informing me of this too.

I looked into it and it appears that your definition of #quark:stone_tool_materials doesn't include #forge:cobblestone -- was there a reason for this? I absolutely may be the idiot here, just curious if there was a reason as it does cause potential incompatibility with a handful of mods (such as my own).

The Solution

My fix (via datapack) and recommendation for modpack Compatability is to also include #forge:cobblestone (this will let you exclude minecraft:cobblestone in the definition of #quark:stone_tool_materials too 😄)
