Breaking a chained boat or minecart causes infinite chains to spawn from the remaining one

To reproduce: place two boats in water and connect them with a chain. Break the second boat. Infinite chains will start spawning from the center of the first boat. Works in creative or survival. Also works the same way with minecarts.
Interesting note: it only happens if you break the second boat or minecart, not the first one.
