Glass Item Frame has Purple/Black Block When No Item Is In It

Basically what the title says... when I have no item on my glass item frame, it has the purple and black block that shows when the design isn't there

If you have Optifine, remove it and try again.

I can confirm (in 1.16.1) that it only shows as a purple and black block when OptiFine is installed/running. Without OptiFine, the texture shows correctly. Is this something that the Quark team would be willing to address, or something to ask the OptiFine team to address?
