Polished Stone isn't ore dictionary'd, whereas the polished limestone and marble are.
The block should be registered in the ore dictionary as stonePolished.
This also would allow you to search $stone in JEI and have it display alongside the others.

Please save me from this inconsistency nightmare. :v
