[1.16.4] Slime blocks do not bounce you from the side if you're using a fireworks-boosted elytra.

It works for just normally flying into them, but while boosting with fireworks, it doesn't bounce me at all. Happens with fireworks with and without a star.
Hello! Quark's moved to 1.18 now-- unfortunately, this means that (unless your bug is critical and/or game-breaking), we're closing support for issues filed for versions prior to it (e.g. Quark on 1.16).

After some research, this appears to be due to the fact that fireworks boost you continuously in your look direction. Thus if you look forward, the firework boost will cancel out the bounce and keep you pressed against the slime.
