When shift clicking items out of the backpack one could rightfully expect the item to go into the hotbar because that's how it is with every single other container in the game. Even lapis goes into the hotbar when taken out of enchanting table. But instead it goes to the upper row of the inventory.

Now I also want to point out that the same thing should apply when shift clicking items IN the backpack. Or in other words, it shouldn't happen at all. Or at least there should be a toggle for it.

It's annoying when you wear a backpack and want to shift click items from your inventory to your hotbar but instead it goes into the backpack.
