[1.16.5] Iron rods not working in server mode

Hey. I'm a server admin for a small private server.
Running this mod locally, iron rods work. on server, with the exact same mod versions it doesn't.
attached below are the local and server config file.
No warnings or debug informatino are generated when attempting to use the feature.

I run currently:

A game log as well as a copy of the config would be useful for this, yeah. An image of the setups you're using on both ends would also be appreciated.

Configurations are already provided. The test setup to see this phenomenon has been reduced to a piston with a lever on the back, and an iron rod on the front being unable to break a block placed in front of it. Logs will follow shortly. Will try to capture both startup and failure time. Screenshot of the machine to follow too.

Ah, I mistook those zips as the mod file rather than the configs. The issue is that you have Piston Logic Replacement disabled on your server. This is necessary for quark piston features to work.

Update: still broken with the latest stable version of forge
