For example, if you have some cobblestone in the backpack, and pick up some, it doesn't get stacked on top of the existing backpack cobblestone, it just tries to move to the normal inventory. This is especially annoying when you have a full inventory, and items can't be picked up even though there's a tonne of backpack room.
