I'm playing on 1.16.5 forge with no other mods installed besides Quark and ARL. The worked when I first installed it (April 2021) but after I closed and reopened Minecraft it would not work. The mod does work for me on 1.12.2 and 1.14.4. I have tried redownloading it and getting different versions, however nothing seems to be working.

Try deleting your config file and having it reload.
