Quark's disabling of the normal chest recipe seems to apply to modded woods from mods such as Biomes O Plenty and Biomes You'll Go. It may be worth making an adjustment so that if there's no chest recipe that it changes to the default one.

Hi, I see that Quark overriding the other modded chest I have had same issue before but this mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/polymorph helps fix my problems with Furnace, crafting and works with modded furnace even Refined Storage

Hello! Quark's moved to 1.18 now-- unfortunately, this means that (unless your bug is critical and/or game-breaking), we're closing support for issues filed for versions prior to it (e.g. Quark on 1.16).
