When I use the recipe book and select empty map, it does not use the compass.

I am using only quark (plus autoreglib) and everything is up to date.

Yeah, I'm not sure about this one being fixable unfortunately. Quark has to add info to the compasses to track their usage, and the recipe book doesn't like this.
