I tried to play Minecraft with the Quark mod but it said that it requires forge 41. The only forge version currently available is 40. If you say it works as intended, https://youtu.be/kX4eNOqKOfk

for me its saying Quark requires Forge version 41.0.63 and im using 41.0.110 which is the newest version, so that means Quark has not been updated to use the newest version of forge yet.

You need to use the beta version (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/quark/files/3873471) which has been updated for the breaking changes that happened post 41.0.63, although if you're using it on a server I suggest reading this thread as, while the fix has been made in code, I don't believe it's been released: #3832
