Disabling the charcoal blocks in the config file doesn't work. Ingame, I still get the block in my creative inventory. Also, there is no config to disable coal blocks (or maybe it is linked with charcoal blocks)

Items will always show up in the creative search menu even when you disable them, it's a technical limitation. Coal Block is vanilla.
