Rendering Issue when giving Myalite Slabs a custom Block Model in a Resource Pack

Issue is pretty much what it says on the tin- I was trying to change the block model of Polished Myalite Slabs via Resource Pack, and their sides render way too dark. The custom "Double" model I gave them works fine, but for some reason the "Top" and "Bottom" models do not. I have yet to test if Stairs share the same issue.
