Specially created a new profile in curseforge, installed these mods, did not touch the configuration files. But if it helps:

quark-common.toml.txt

There's a few possible solutions for you here:

• Disable the Variant Chests feature in the quark config
• Craft the chests by mixing multiple types of wood
• Use a mod that provides the Redwood Chest, like Compat O' Plenty or Every Compat
