When an item is shared while simple discord link is installed, the player who shared that item will be kicked from the server, and the item will not be shared. We are currently using Quark 405 and Simple Discord Link 1.19.1-2.2.2.

Could you try and replicate this, and then give us the log from both sides? It might have something.

Also, what item were you trying to share?

There were nothing in client logs about item sharing or quark. https://gist.github.com/thelegitdolt/1aa4338627639d2ba2afddf6edd2694c. And sharing any item will cause the kick to happen

alternatively, this might be caused by a client-server version mismatch

definitely not a version mismatch, I'm pretty sure everyone in the server is running 404. But yeah, I can test a custom quark build for you

After some further testing, it turns out that simple discord link is unrelated, and the kick will still happen if only quark is installed.

Oh boy this is still happening
I'm still on the server, sharing an item with a colored rune applied to it will still kick you

You get kicked with this message as the reason

after more testing, it appears that this kick only happens if you have the color runed items renamed to a special color code with the Easy Anvil mod (again)
