I saw on the website that using dragon breath consumes the bottle. Instead, what if there were another slot in the brewing stand, in which brewing waste was dumped when the item was consumed? In the case of the dragon breath, it would be the bottle.
What if there were more waste? Maybe using some items in brewing would create other items that could be used later? Magma cream, when brewed, might rarely leave behind a slimeball. I'm not sure that's a great example, but there would probably be something else that could make useful waste.
