I have now noticed two examples of this: #4342 and #4378, the latter of which was marked "off topic" and locked to further replies with no response. In your defense I suppose they aren't really bugs, so I am instead posting this as feedback:

I would like to suggest a separate toggle or perhaps a config option in the file that can be used to disable all this without other cool features being caught in the crossfire. For example, I want to use animal variants, but one of them is that lgbt bee, and I couldnt figure out how to disable that hat at all.
