Smite VI enchantment book via Ancient Tome

Been trying to enchant multiple items with the enchantment all to end up showing it will result as Smite V if I enchanted the item. Help?
What version of minecraft, quark, and forge are you using? Because, It looks like it works fine.
Try it with a weapon that isn't vanilla. That may work, I haven't tried. I'm using an obsidian spear from Extra Utilities 2.
